Trail Rating: GREEN: Mellow hike, easy to follow, elevation gain of 1,000ft. and under, low altitude. Novice hikers welcome!

- Cahuenga Peak (aka Wisdom Tree)
Date: August 10th
Time: 7:00 PM
Distance: 2.2 miles total / Out & Back Trail – approx. 1.5 hours
Total Elevation Gain: 853 ft.
Top Elevation: 1,819 ft.

Dogs: Yes
Kids: Yes (Since we will be going for sunset, we will need to make sure we can be up in under 1 hour and make it back very quickly. Please only bring experienced children to join this hike!)

Meeting Location: FREE STREET PARKING
Utilize free street parking along Lake Hollywood Drive. We will meet at the top of the paved road by the Lake Hollywood Drive street sign (coordinates: 34.13207, -118.33790).



***As with all GWH events, you must sign the GWH waiver before attending – it takes less than a minute to sign, and once you’ve signed it once you’re good to go for all future meetups***

What To Bring: At least 1L of water. Hiking boots or sneakers (the path is mellow without rocky passages, however there are very steep parts in the beginning that are dirt and quite slippery). Trekking poles optional. Sunscreen/Sunglasses. We will take a short break at the top, so feel free to bring along a snack, though this is not required.
